From October 20 to December 24, 2022, the Anne-Sophie Duval Gallery presents its new exhibition "Vassil Ivanoff, Ceramicist-Painter-Sculptor, "A Sun of 1300°C", exhibiting a new collection of ceramics by Vassil Ivanoff (1897-1973).

Of Bulgarian origin, he settled in La Borne in 1946, a pottery village in Berry, where he met other pioneers of modern ceramics. There he created a "prolific, inspired, unique" body of work: all these pieces in glazed stoneware, zoomoprhes, plaques with erotic subjects, abstract compositions or free-form sculptures, reveal a powerful and sensual creativity.
