This second monograph devoted to the island of Sai, between the 2nd and 3rd cataracts, presents the results of the excavation of an Egyptian elite cemetery of the New Kingdom, the exploration of which began in the 1970s under the auspices of the French Archaeological Mission in Sudan, led by Jean Vercoutter.
