The Hôtel de la Marine, which opened its doors for the first time in June 2021, will showcase the treasures of the Al Thani Collection, one of the most prestigious in the world. Thanks to the exceptional patronage of the Al Thani Collection Foundation, the former Royal Furniture Repository will resume its centuries-old function as an exhibition space, housing the historical riches of this unique collection. Tsuyoshi Tane Architects was chosen to design the new exhibition spaces within the monument.

This volume of the "Regards..." collection presents a selection of the Collection's finest works. Comprising a wide range of artworks spanning numerous civilizations from Antiquity to the present day, it has never before been exhibited to the general public in all its diversity, celebrating creativity and the universal power of art throughout the ages. This primarily illustrated work invites both the curious reader and the knowledgeable art lover to discover and contemplate these objects.
