To mark the 50th anniversary of Pablo Picasso's death, the exhibition "Picasso, Dessiner à l'infini," organized by the Centre Pompidou, will highlight the most abundant part of his creation through the presentation of more than 1,200 drawings and engravings.
Through 50 thematic entries, sometimes entrusted to personalities from the world of art or literature, the catalog will present a vast selection of Picasso's drawings.
The question of the artist's relationship with women will be addressed in several contributions, notably: The Curtain Raised, by Emmanuel Pernoud, Violence, by Guitemie Maldonado, or Green Painting or Black Stone: Picasso at Manet, by Stéphane Guégan.
