It was from the artist's admiring reading of some of the writer's texts, then from the latter's full adherence to the painter's vision that the idea for this work was born: to translate the same surprise at the emergence of things and to propose the same questioning regarding the most appropriate way to restore their effects through words or the brush. It is therefore not a monograph strictly speaking or a catalogue raisonné of the work, but rather a conversation initiated in parallel by two sensibilities seeking to better understand the secrets of expression, thanks to the prestige of ink, on the one hand with the help of words, on the other with images.
