In 2023, Rachele Cassetta chose the island of Port-Cros as the study site for her artistic residency. For two weeks, she explored the paths of this wonderful piece of land, paying particular attention to its geology, the shapes and details of the landscapes. Every day, she discovered the elements of an unspoiled and vibrant nature. She discovered the writings of the poet Janine Chapelier and her involvement in the history of the island.
