Nourished by several years of collective exchanges around teaching and research, surveying common grounds, Hervé Davodeau took up the pen of this manifesto-work. This manifesto pleads for a affirmed and fruitful consideration of the landscape in the reflection and action on the territories: "Let's put the landscape on the program!" But, beyond that, it aims to be a force of proposal for the great diversity of actors and actresses of awareness, education, professional training in and with the landscape. Because founded on a didactic posture of questioning and research on the practices and purposes of teaching, it is not a militant work but a critical and engaged reflection. It is organized in 4 chapters and approaches the landscape as a lever to: - Expose oneself: work on sensitivities and put education into debate outside; - Investigate: because it is necessary to collect and analyze knowledge on the territories; - Debate: to formulate and exchange ideas, learn to argue; - Transform: because this is also the role of the landscape project and action on the territories in a context of environmental crisis. If it is the product of several years of scientific research, this proposal takes an original form: the manifesto. It aims to convey convictions on the landscape - a strong issue, not a postcard or a wallpaper -, on landscape action -, the social practices that invest the landscape and use it -, and on didactics - a reflective, critical and constructive posture on what is at stake in transmission.
