A Journey Through Juliobona Lillebonne (formerly Juliobona) was an important city in ancient times. It was the capital of the Calètes, that is, the territory corresponding to the current Pays de Caux. At that time, significant urban planning took place with the Romanization of the city. Buildings were thus erected between the 1st and 4th centuries. From the 19th century onward, various remains were unearthed following numerous excavation campaigns. We will present these precious discoveries to you, respecting a geographical theme. You will successively discover the spaces dedicated to: theater, commerce, thermal baths, daily life, necropolises, and cults.
