Opening of the Dom Robert and 20th Century Tapestry Museum in 2015 at the Sorèze Abbey School in the Tarn, the venue for the presentation of the En Calcat Abbey's tapestry collection, comprising a collection of 56 tapestries by Dom Robert and 35 by other 20th century artists, from Lurçat and Gromaire to Tourlière and Prassinos, partly from the legacy of Suzanne Goubely upon her death in 1997, representing more than 350 m2 of surface area.

A unique work through its naive and inspired inspiration celebrating nature. Dom Robert is one of the most prolific and admired cartoon artists of the 20th century. Guy de Chaunac-Lanzac (Dom Robert) was born in Poitou on December 15, 1907. After studying Decorative Arts and then his military service in Morocco where he developed his watercolor technique which would provide the material for an exhibition at Bernheim Jeune, he entered the Abbey of En Calcat in September 1930. He was ordained a priest in 1937. When Jean Lurçat, passing through the Benedictine Abbey of En Calcat in the Tarn in 1941, discovered the watercolors and illuminations of Dom Robert, he was touched by the power and originality of these works and introduced him to the art world. He immediately found success and became one of the most prolific and admired cartoon artists of the 20th century. Dom Robert focused his entire work on nature: horses, flowers, chickens, grasses, ducks... It is particularly his work on the seasons (spring, summer, autumn) that the book highlights by presenting around fifty tapestries to which are associated preparatory drawings, watercolors, and cartoons.
