The Gauls are remembered for their brilliant civilization. Much of what has been attributed to the Romans is theirs. It's a whole world to rediscover.

The Gauls exploited all of Gaul, establishing vast agricultural holdings there; they traced large straight roads, facilitating travel and trade. Curious and ingenious, they were at the origin of numerous inventions in metallurgy, woodworking, clothing, etc. By their spirituality, they distinguished themselves from their Latin and Greek neighbors: wise and learned men (the druids) initiated them into the immortality of the soul, its reincarnation; but, by their political and religious life, they are very close to them: "democratic" type institutions, annual magistracies, state religion taking place in authentic sanctuaries.

Thanks to ancient literary sources and the most recent results of archaeology, Jean-Louis Brunaux invites us to a rediscovery of the Gauls.
