This work constitutes the second part of the collective research project entitled "Gallo-Roman painted plasters in the territories of the Leuques and the Mediomatrici". Following a first volume devoted to the paintings of Metz-Divodurum, it presents the sets of painted plasters, most of them unpublished, unearthed in the secondary towns and ancient villae of Lorraine.
Today's more sophisticated sampling and study methods have facilitated the collection of data that allows us to better understand the implementation of painted coatings and to reflect on the composition of walls, the evolution of ornamental repertoires and decorative programs depending on the nature of the spaces.
