The Talking Vase is an innovative object for scientific promotion and cultural mediation that reproduces an ancient Greek vase in a very large format. It allows visitors to interact and question the scenes and mythological characters represented on a life-size scale using pointers that reproduce information through headphones. The Talking Vase creates a unique and personalized approach to a Greek black-figure ceramic from the 6th century BC, preserved in the collections of the Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille. Supported by the University of Lille 3, this digital device helps to disseminate and transmit knowledge to as many people as possible.
