The present works offer the hieroglyphic transcription, transliteration and translation of the "Book of the Dead" of Nesparefy. The original long papyrus was cut by its "discoverers" into 6 rolls to facilitate its sale, but one of them has still not been found (it contains "chapters" 100 to 144). The length of the known rolls is 15.88 m. Coming from the Theban region, this Papyrus is dated to the 26th Dynasty, more precisely to the reign of Psammetichus I (c. 664-610 BC). Written in hieratic and unfolding from right to left, the "Book of the Dead" of Nespaséfy currently contains 117 chapters.
