Beyond all that has been written about the Distant Goddess, the research undertaken by the author on the myth of this deity aims to understand the specific version of the myth at Philae, each sanctuary developing its own concepts and sets of concepts, if only according to the deity to which it was dedicated. This approach is carried out in two stages: first, the author establishes a detailed corpus of references to the myth that can be found, clearly specifying their context. In a second stage, the different forms that appear are exposed, and the myth "reconstructed on new bases. The first edition (2001) being out of print, the work was reprinted in 2013.
