This work presents an account of the high flood of the Nile in Year 6 of the reign of Pharaoh Taharqo, sixth Nubian pharaoh of the XXVth Dynasty (c. 684 BC), according to the stelae of Matâanah (Cairo No. 36269), Coptos (Cairo No. 48440) and Kama/V (Copenhagen Æ. IN 1712), published respectively, for the two Cairo stelae, by Vladimir Vikentiev in 1930 and for the Kawa/V stela by MF Laming Macadam in 1949.
