This work analyzes the modalities of the deposition of ceramics in a ritual context, the choice of different typological and functional categories, the association of the latter with each other and/or with other types of deposited materials, as well as the description of the gestures of intentional fragmentation of the vases. The studies concern chronologically and geographically differentiated archaeological contexts, from the Bronze Age to the Middle Ages, in Gaul, Italy, Spain and in the Greek world.
