Joan Miró: The Essence of Things Past and Present.

Behind the seemingly childlike and innocent nature of Joan Miró's work lies a deep connection with Catalan tradition and the art of the past. From his artistic training with his first works in Catalonia in 1910 to the influence of primitivism, Romanesque and Oriental art, the visitor will travel through a wide selection of Miró's works (paintings, works on paper and sculptures) that span his entire career. This exhibition is organized with the participation of the Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró (Palma de Mallorca) and the Fundació Joan Miró (Barcelona), thanks to loans from numerous prestigious international public and private collections.
