In his family, Antonin Artaud was nicknamed Nanaki, a diminutive close to that given to his maternal grandmother who lived in Smyrna, and to whom he was very attached: Neneka. First Antoine, then Nanaki, then Antonin and finally Mômo: Artaud jumps from one name to another and these violent jumps expel him from the framework, from conventions, from language itself: this text, dated September 1946, written in Paris, illustrates these wild capers and marks the return to life.
