The first volume of Homer and Anatolia, published in the same collection, highlighted a number of analogies between Homeric literature and the Hittite civilization of the second and first millennia. As we already noted, the Iliad is situated at a point of convergence between Anatolia and Greece. We resume our discussion today by highlighting other aspects that suggest that many Anatolian traits are perceptible in ancient literature.
