The designed and constructed work of Atelier Bonnet covers a wide range of themes and scales, envisaged in a spirit of interaction and complicity. Deeply attached to the context and the architectural landscape of Geneva, the architects' approach is nevertheless singular: first in their way of working and in the register of sources and references which are the basis of their imagination; then, in their patient research of the urban and architectural themes which they address; finally, in the particular and familial conditions of the production of a material, exposed raw concrete.
Lavishly illustrated, this collective work presents a collection of projects and achievements, spanning from 2000 to the present day, organized according to unifying themes often used in conferences. Analyzed by critical texts, this production demonstrates a poetic approach specific to Pierre and Mireille Bonnet, which combines, with acuity and force, an intelligence of facts and a sensitivity to cultural and artistic phenomena.
