Architect and urban planner, Simon Teyssou (Paris, 1973), after a childhood in Cantal then studies in Clermont-Ferrand and Aberdeen, graduated in 2000 and opened his agency in Cantal. He also teaches at the ENSA of Clermont-Ferrand (2004-2018) before taking over as its director. The Grand Prix d'Urbanisme crowns his work, exemplary of a generation of designers who demonstrate the possibility of carrying out ambitious, qualitative and creative projects in territories poorly equipped in engineering, unattractive for the market and financially constrained.
