The basis of the work of painter François Dilasser (1926-2012) is drawing, in long series from which singular forms are born. More than 200 are reproduced here with the support of a sensitive text on the artist by his writer wife. We also find the man she knew for many years, for an immersion in the gestation of the work of a great artist. The themes covered by the drawings and paintings are multiple: the sea, trees, hands, heads, comets... Dilasser does not seek to restore an image, but rather the emotion felt during the creation of the work. Texts by AUBUSSON Pascal and DILASSER Antoinette.
