The objective of this interdisciplinary conference, organized by ISTA (UBFC) in October 2019, is to study the strategies and mechanisms implemented in the processes of construction of ancient identities, individual and collective, in Asia Minor. The sixteen contributions range from the 8th century BC to the 3rd century AD. Philologists, historians, art historians and archaeologists shed light on the multiple facets of the notion of identity (definitions, representations and appropriation, expression and materiality, civic identities).
