Exhibition catalog “Cezanne at Jas de Bouffan” at the Granet Museum, Aix-en-Provence, from June 28 to October 12, 2025.

A selection of 150 paintings, drawings and watercolors offering a retrospective of the painter's intimate world in his family estate of Jas de Bouffan: bathers, still lifes, landscapes, portraits and self-portraits.

For nearly forty years (from 1859 to 1899), the Jas de Bouffan country house was the epicenter of the life and work of Paul Cezanne (1839-1906). Despite the disagreements that sometimes opposed him to his father, he returned there constantly to recharge his batteries or escape the incomprehension and mockery of his contemporaries, which he found difficult to bear.
