Brest-based artist Charlène Sorin harvests seaweed from the coast and immortalizes it with light. Her cyanotypes, inspired by those of English botanist Anna Atkins, record the marine flora of the Iroise Sea, collected while freediving between 4 and 15 meters deep.

The photographic technique of cyanotype is an ancient process, allowing the impression of an object to be printed by sunlight on a photosensitized sheet, giving this Prussian Blue color.
