This book is the publication of a little-known major work, part of the greatest temple in Egypt, built by one of the last kings of Egyptian empire. After a brief introduction, thes scene are descibed, the inscriptions translated and teh role of teh gateway and its decoration discussed. The book cloncudes with drawings of the hieroglyphic texts and plates of the entire gateway, both photographic and line.
